Was there A Finale to this show or was it canceled before there could be one?

The last episode of the 4th season was supposed to be "Gotta Run". It was a three part episode and it had a cliff hanger--would Mork and Mindy find their way home? But the show got cancelled and there wasn't going to be a 5th Season, so they hurried up and made one last episode - The mork Report. So that was actually the last show.

..."The Mork Report" was produced before the final three-part episode, 'Jan', but shown as the last of the series. Remember, in part two of "Gotta Run", Mindy's apartment was destroyed by Kalnik the Neptunian. At the end of part three, Mork and Mindy are still on the run, through time (thanks to Mork's oversized "time shoes"). If the series had been renewed for another season, I'm sure they would have worked their way back to the "present", defeated Kalnik once and for all, and "started over" again.
But we'll never know....

I'm afraid you're wrong about this one. I saw an interview with Garry Marshall where he states that The Mork report was made after Gotta Run - to wrap things up (without a cliff hanger) and give it a happy ending.
