Default what do you think will happen to charlie harpers character?

Now that Ashton Kutcher is the new star of the show, what do you think will happen to the character of charlie harper? Will they say he died? Went to rehab? What do you guys think will happen?

Excellent question, from what I read, Charlie runs off to some island or retreat for sex addicts. Seeing how Charlie completely burned bridges with Chuck Lorre, I wouldn't be surprised if they killed him off.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they killed Charlie off just to make sure Charlie Sheen can't ever come back.

Default I don't think Chuck Lorre will "kill off" Charlie entirely...

...however, his fate might include several of these options:

1) Charlie runs off to get married without telling anyone;

2) Charlie is confined to a mental hospital when his lifestyle finally catches up with him;

3) Charlie mysteriously disappears- although several possibilities are offered, no one is really sure what happened, or where he is...

4) Charlie, for whatever reason it happened to him, is placed in a government "witness protection program", given a new identity, and spirited away towards a new life (again, without tellling anyone);

5) Charlie becomes the focus of a TV reality show, and in the process, inexplicably cuts off all ties to Alan, Jacob, Berta, and the rest of the family:

ALAN: (stares at TV, annoyed) Is Charlie on again?
BERTA: (staring at the set for a moment) [sarcastically] He was.... {turns set off}

6) Charlie is suddenly drafted to help fight the war in Afghanistan;

7) Charlie develops amnesia, wanders away from the neighborhood, and nobody notices...

If you have any other ideas, feel free to add them...

In one the biggest ironies ever Charlie Harper becomes a monk, enters a monastery, and takes a vow of chastity!

Whatever they do they have to give a pretty plausible reason for Charlie just leaving his place in Malibu at Alan's disposal.

That is not in tune with his character or the tone of the show.

Well they do mention in the show that evrything is left to Berta if anything were to happen to Charlie. Can't see them killing him off tho.

i think Charlie "loses" a bet with Ashton's character and Ashton gets Charlie's beach house in Malibu and all of his assets - but the downside is that he is now also stuck with Jake and Alan until he can get them to leave on their own.

meanwhile, Charlie has run off to England and eloped with Rose to live in a deluded happily ever after.

I think the plot will be something along the lines of Charlie running away when it is revealed that he has a long lost son (Ashton Kutcher).

My guess is perhaps he gives everything he has to Berta and takes off with Rose. Explaining Kutchers appearence,Bertas son?

Can't see them killing him off,i doubt they want to start the season with a somber note.
can't see him being a long lost brother..
Whatever it is i bet it's something we wouldn't think of
