I'm searching for names of a few characters who either appeared only briefly or were just mentioned on various Leave it to Beaver episodes. June once mentioned Eddie Haskell's parents by their first names when Eddie dropped out of school. Beaver once spoke of a male teacher by name in an upper grade when he came back to visit Miss Landers. In the "Soup" episode I think Whitey's parents are named Frank and Gladys but I'm not sure. How about the name of the new neighbors and their little neice who moved in next to the Cleavers and Beaver was afraid of the husband? The Peytons moved to Crystal Falls and the boy, a former classmate of Beaver's, wrote him an invitation to visit. What was his name? And there were girls who were interested in Wally on two episodes, one had the last name of Boothby and her father met Ward at the golf club and the other I think was named Pendelton or Pemberton and was mentioned by June. And did the local sporting goods store have a name? Thank you anyone who can help.

Eddie Haskells father was named George but I seem to recall in one episode him being called Frank. One of Beavers male teachers was Mr. Blair, I know there was at least one other man teacher but I can't think of his name. It may have been Mr. Bloomgarten. The Donaldsons were the Cleavers next door neighbors. Billy Peyton was the boy that Beaver went to visit on the farm. and Evelyn Boothby was one of Wallys girlfriends.

< ...Eddie Haskell's parents >
In 1 or 2 of the early eps, I think Mr. Haskell was called Frank. Later on, I recall their names being George and Agnes. < a male teacher by name in an upper grade > In "Beaver's Autobiography," his English teacher was Mr. Thompson. "In Beaver's Typewriter," and in at least one more ep I can't recall, there was a teacher named Mr. Bailey [he was an actor in the 'Dragnet' episode in which a stoned couple let their baby (his granddaughter) drown in the bathtub]. < In the "Soup" episode I think Whitey's parents are named Frank and Gladys but I'm not sure. > I think Ward calls Mr. Whitney Frank, but I cannot remember Mrs. Whitney, in the ep or any other, being referred to by her first name. < How about the name of the new neighbors and their little neice who moved in next to the Cleavers and Beaver was afraid of the husband? > The Donaldsons; not sure if the niece was of the same name. < The Peytons moved to Crystal Falls and the boy, a former classmate of Beaver's, wrote him an invitation to visit. What was his name? > Billy. < And there were girls who were interested in Wally on two episodes, one had the last name of Boothby and her father met Ward at the golf club and the other I think was named Pendelton or Pemberton and was mentioned by June. > The Boothby girl was called Evelyn. Coincidentally or not, 'Evelyn' is stated as June's middle name in an unknown [to me] ep; and in "Beaver's Accordion" Ward claims a girl once said he had "eyes like Melvin Douglas," and her name was 'Evelyn Bowdenhouse.' I don't rember a girl named Pendleton or Pemberton, but she may be the one Wally had a crush on, and the illusion was destroyed when June invited her to come on a family picnic and she would not eat the food or stay in sunlight for fear of allergies. < And did the local sporting goods store have a name? > I remember in the hunting jacket ep, the sporting goods store had a very similar name to a real store, but I have drawn a blank as to which one that was. |
