Boechsner, when you were putting together the episode guide for Mr. Belvedere on tv.com, how were you able to find out that the season 5 episodes "Spot", "The Debate", and "The Election" were 5V12, 5V15 and 5V16 respectively? Those numbers weren't listed in the U.S. Copyright Office.

As I recall, I used deduction after some intense research.
Back in the day (late 80's, early 90s), Mr. Belvedere aired in syndication on local stations and the episodes aired in Production order. Back in the early 2000s, I was research crazy and I was determined to make sure many websites had correct info. Back then, tv.com was tvtome.com. Believe it or not, back in 2001 you could not find a complete episode guide for many sitcoms, such as One Day at a Time and Diff'rent Strokes. I digress, I have a large TV Guide collection and I would check the TV Guide listings and for Mr. Belvedere: Spot always aired in the Season 5 episode 12 position The Debate, Season 5 episode 15 The Election, Season 5 episode 16. I guess I am not 100% certain those are the correct production numbers, but by reason of deduction, I am 99% certain, why else would they always air in that order? |
