Lance Reddick to Guest on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'

Lance Reddick has reportedly signed up for a guest role on FX comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

In a post on his Twitter account, the show's star Glenn Howerton (Dennis Reynolds) announced that the Fringe actor will appear alongside Jon Polito and Naturi Naughton in an upcoming episode.

He wrote: "Just finished shooting w/ amazing actors Naturi Naughton, Lance Reddick [and] Jon Polito (sic). I love Sunny."

Reddick currently plays Phillip Broyles on Fox's Fringe and previously starred as Cedric Daniels on HBO drama The Wire. He also appeared in episodes of Lost, CSI: Miami and Law & Order: SVU.

Polito is a regular collaborator with the Coen brothers, having appeared in a number of the pair's films including 1991's Barton Fink, 1998's The Big Lebowski and 2001's The Man Who Wasn't There. His past television credits include guest roles on The Mentalist, Monk and Ghost Whisperer.

Naughton is best known for performing as part of musical trio 3LW but has also appeared in films including 2009 biopic Notorious and the same year's Fame. Her television credits include a guest role on Mad Men and a part in new NBC pilot Playboy.

The seventh season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will premiere on FX in the fall.
