I always took it to be some sort of curse word since Mork always used it when he had said or done something wrong or had hurt himself.

I think it was supposed to be the Orkan version of well, "crap", or one of that word's more coarse versions.

yea, that's what I alwatys took it to mean.

Just like on "HAPPY DAYS" Gary Marshall had some of the characters say "SIT ON IT" (an expression my mother used to hate-I think it's stupid though) instead of "Shove it"!
