Default When is the last time we see Cockroach

It it the Dance Mania episode? I know they don't go to the prom, and I don't think we see him in the hall with all of Theo's other friends. What ever happened to him? I guess their friendship never recovered after he danced with Tina.

Not sure if anything was said storyline wise about his depature but "dance mania" was his last episode. As i hear it the backstory was the Cos wanted him to cut his hair and Payne refused to and was let go.

I wonder why Bill Cosby was so intent on Carl Anthony Payne II cutting his hair. Was he afraid that Payne's jheri curl was "too black"? I mean, no offense to Mr. Cosby, he's a very funny guy, but sometimes I feel that he just takes his "stop being stereotypical" mantra way too seriously sometimes.

Well if the star of the show wants you to do something I think you do it so you can continue working.

Hmmm, that surely makes you wonder. I forgot all about the situation of Bill wanting Carl Payne to cut his hair...talk about crazy!!! Considering Jheri curls were popular, and other guest stars have worn the style...I don't understand the problem. When the High top fades became the "in" thing around the early 90s....I bet he didn't mind Malcolm Jamal sporting that look.
