No it aired in two parts. the only one hour special that last season was the final episode.

passages the final was an hour special in early may of 1984.but it was not the last episode aired by abc.FONZIE SPOTS was the final one aired i believe in july of 1984

yes it did air on ABC, but it was on 2 separate nights - #237- Welcome Home, Part 1 (10/25/83) and #238- Welcome Home, Part 2 (11/1/83)

It was the last episode I saw. I didn't watch those shows that summer. HD never should have been put on hiatus in the first place and those episodes should have aired before the final.

If the last season ever gets issued on DVD -- hell, we may never see season five due to lawsuits -- I hope they're in the production order and not in order of airdates, because it would be silly if the final episode isn't the last one on the set.
