NEW YORK - Production firm Warner Bros. is "exploring different ideas on how to do the show," CBS Corp. president and CEO Leslie Moonves said on his company's quarterly earnings conference call Tuesday afternoon when asked about the fate of Two and a Half Men.
The comment reiterated that co-creator Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. - as reported exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter - are looking at tweaking the show without Charlie Sheen. "We don't know what the resolution is right now. There are obviously a lot of moving pieces," Moonves said, adding "we're sort of waiting on them." Replying to an analyst question about the impact on CBS's fall schedule in case the show doesn't return, he said "it is an important show to us," but lauded the network's strong schedule that doesn't make it dependent on a single series. "We will see what happens," Moonves added without sharing further details or making predictions. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...er-bros-184556 |

The word "reboot" really gets misused these days by movie and TV people.
"Reboot" meets to start over. To go back to the beginning. What they're doing is "retooling." Getting a new lead actor and character and continuing on with the remaining original actors and characters. I hear Ted McGinley's having some secret meetings with CBS and Warner Bros. brass....
