"NCIS" Will Integrate Osama Bin Laden's Death
by Chris Harnick posted May 3rd 2011 Next time the camera pans to the most-wanted list on "NCIS", expect to see Osama bin Laden's face with a big red X through it. According to Vulture, the production team of "NCIS" will digitally add a death notice over bin Laden's face when his picture appears in the background of a scene, as occasionally happens on the military show. The series has already wrapped shooting, so adding dialogue about the terrorist leader's death was impossible, leaving the CBS series with only a digital option to address the big military news. The nod could happen as early as tonight's episode. "NCIS" has featured bin Laden on the set's background most-wanted list since the series began in 2003.
