Default Beaver's Worst Punishment

Of all the times Beaver got punished by Ward and June, which one do you think was the worst? My vote is for when Beaver and Larry were playing catch with Ward's autographed baseball and a truck ran over the ball. When Ward found out about the ball, he sent Beaver to his room and told him that every day after school for a week he would go to his room and have no friends or TV.

I agree, also I cant say I blame Ward on that one. He had every right in the world to be mad. Then again he should have waited until Beaver was older to have shown him that ball.

I don't blame him for coming down hard on the Beaver for that one. Can you imagine what a baseball with those particular autographs would be worth? Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, KiKi Cuyler, etc.

i cant even begain to imagane how much a ball like that would go for at auction today as an autograph collector i can only tell you that i think it would be way out of my price range although sigs of 2 of the others menitoned on the ball lefty grove and bill dickey are not too pricey just by themselves

I just watched that episode yesterday on DVD. I felt so sorry for Beaver in that episode. He was trying to do good. But like always Larry talks him into doing something that ends up getting Beaver in hot water. Seem like Larry was always making Beaver do something bad. Though I think in real life everyone had a friend like Larry. I know I had some friends that talked me into doing things that ended up getting me into trouble. And getting yelled at by my parents.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. Beaver is just plain stupid. Yes, Larry was always talking him into stuff, but really....he should have known better after being friends with him that long. I may be biased because I'm a diehard baseball fan and could really appreciate how much that ball meant to Ward, so I feel the punishment was justified and really he's lucky Ward didn't take a belt to him. Had it been my dad's baseball, my ass would have looked like two Japanese flags.

I can barely even watch the autographed baseball episode. Beaver should have known better. And yes, Beaver can sometimes be stupid. I think a good spanking should have been part of the punishment.

I gotta go with you on this. That baseball was a collectors item, and even though I am not into baseball, but if I had been Ward, I would have been so pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
