New UM box set - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Looking online I found this and wondered if it will ever be available now the First Look Studios are defunct.
I searched the forum and didn't find anything.

I assumed this would probably be another repackaging of the same segments that have already been released on DVD, but then I looked closer at the cover and saw the words "92 Episode Box Set" *drool*. Don't tell me they were actually planning to release complete episodes on DVD, but then cancelled it!

That set is most likely never coming out. It's been up on Amazon for a few years now. People have inquired about it and were told the release was cancelled due to lack of interest.

I remember when this was announced a few years ago and they kept pushing the release date forward. It is kind of difficult to speculate on what it might have been as First Look had a pension for re-releasing compilations of their previous compilations. I would assume it was intended to be another compilation, but who knows? As others have pointed out, with First Look closing up shop, it is unlikely this will see the light of day.

This is truly a shame! You would think that even if CM did not want to mass release these for fear of not selling enough, then possibly they could manufacture them for individual orders?
