Hi dear we are just having seen the FINAL third season of Veronica it is so a great show. Whats gooing on, is it realy true ? The third season ends in 2000. Its a long time so I gues it is true - how stupid, the end is just the beginning what for a great possibility to start more ideas .. josh and bree, veronica and olive as partners...
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhrghl that is really not funny I love this series, if there is any chance to write an e.mail to anybody who had the right to decide the show will go on, i will do it five times a day... Mart

NBC canceled it in the Spring of 2001 I believe. They even bragged about canceling it in their press tour (they also bragged about canceling Suddenly Susan and Caroline also at the same time).
They should have never removed Veronica from its Thursday night line up. It was a much better show than "Just Shoot Me", which currently sits in Veronica's old time slot. NBC will not put it back on the air. It didn't even air the show's last couple episodes. |

I am an expert on "Veronica's Closet" and I just need to correct a few things -- NBC canceled it in the winter of 2000 (the final episode originally run was February 1, 2000 and then NBC aired four of the eight unaired episodes starting June 6, 2000). NBC did brag about canceling both "Veronica" and "Susan," but "Caroline in the City" was canceled the year before. I too wish that NBC would have kept "Veronica" on Thursdays, but because the critics were harsh and the ratings were not good for a Thursday, they moved it to Mondays for the third season, which was NBC's worst night for ratings.

After the airing of "Veronica's New Bookshelves" (Feb. 1, 2000), VC was put on indefinite hiatus by NBC and was not expected to return before June, if even that.
VC returned to NBC (with no promotion what so ever) on Tuesdays at 8:30 starting on June 6, 2000. NBC aired four episodes and then pulled it again during NBC's All Star Week. So, NBC aired up to: "Veronica Sets Josh Up". The next episode, "Veronica's Clips" was scheduled to air July 4, 2000, but like I said, NBC pulled it for the All Star Week. Instead of the VC episode they aired a 3rd Rock from the Sun episode that they had already repeated more than once. After that the remaining VC episodes did not see the light of day until the USA Network picked up the show for syndication. I know my stuff too. And I didn't mean to post Caroline in the other post. NBC's west coast president bragged about canceling Susan and VC during the summer's (summer of 2000) press tour.

Well, you certainly do your research. But, just so you know, you seem like competition -- and I am the biggest "Veronica's Closet" fan around! I'm not meaning to sound rude, I just want to remain the biggest fan around! (Kirstie Alley should have won the 1998 People's Choice Award for her role as "Veronica" -- I can't believe Helen Hunt beat her!)

Well, thank you!
And now I have to correct a mistake that I made -- Kirstie Alley did win the People's Choice Award in 1998. She did NOT win the Emmy, which is what I meant to write. Helen Hunt beat out Kirstie for her role in "Mad About You."
