Chuck Lorre Plotting 'Two and a Half Men' Replacement...Who's On His Short List?
In news that will surprise very few, the Hollywood Reporter claims that Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. will proceed with another season of Two and a Half Men (though TMZ's prognosis is a little more doubtful), with an expanded role for Jon Cryer and a replacement of some sort for Charlie Sheen (with industry scuttlebutt placing stars like Woody Harrelson, Jeremy Piven, and Bob Saget in contention for the role). Whether the retooled Men will premiere before midseason is still unclear; meanwhile, Sheen is still trying to get back on board the show by setting up meetings with his old cast members, even if Lorre, WB, and CBS want nothing to do with him.
