PopEater Talks To Ozzy and Jack Osbourne about the Docu. "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne"
God Bless ... Ozzy Osbourne? Father and Son Talk Reality TV, Regrets and New Film
By PopEater Editors Posted Apr 28th 2011 What was it like working together on this documentary? Ozzy: Well he (Jack) did the work and I just got interviewed... Jack: It was fun. You know I'd call my dad at all hours of the day and asked what he liked, what he didn't, anything you want to talk about more, or not talk about. How involved were you in compiling research and footage? Jack: Some footage we still can't find today, we don't know where the masters are. It's just been lost in the oblivion. The greatest tool that we had was YouTube. It was insane on the amount of stuff that people had. I don't know how or where they got it but it's all there on the internet. Why did you feel it was necessary to make this documentary now? Ozzy: After "The Osbournes" the family was in such disarray; mentally, physically, addiction-wise, everything. Jack got cleaned up one day and said to me 'I want to go beyond the camera' so I said 'Go buy a camera then'. That was the start of it all and what we ended up with now. Is there anything that you wish you can go back to and change in the documentary? Ozzy: When they showed the Randy Rhoads thing I had to look away because it's opened up an old wound in my heart. The day he died I'll never forget it. He was a tragic loss to tell you the truth. Jack: I'd like to put more stuff in from the '90s because we completely ignored that, you know? Ozzy: I remember the '90s. Jack: I can't... (laughs) 'No More Tears' is a great album. http://blog.moviefone.com/2011/04/28...ozzy-osbourne/ |
