Spike Lee is nothing but a hater, there is nothing wrong with Tyler Perry's movies image wise. Lee is just a bitter little man, I never liked him and never will.

Tyler Perry's movies show a lot of different type of images, both negative and positive. Spike Lee's movies are always negative and most of them I've seen are not very good. I think Spike's problem is that Tyler has had more success with his films that he has had with his own.

Other than Malcolm X, and Four Little Girls I am not much of a fan of Spike Lee, but I gotta take his side on this one.

Tyler Perry looks like a damn bafoon in those movies. We get it, a black man in drag as in overweight older black woman is funny, but we dont need any more movies to prove that point. Perry should move on and do something else, like retiring.

I think comparing Spike Lee and Tyler Perry as filmmakers is like comparing apples and oranges. Their styles are completely different. Spike Lee has always done socially relevent films, and Tyler Perry's movies are more for entertainment, for laughs. That's the way I see it, anyway.

We could also tell Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence the same thing.

There's nothing wrong with Tyler Perry's movies and Spike Lee needs to stop tripping. Every black director isn't gonna do movies like Spike and he needs to realize that. Black directors can't be concerned about what blacks and racist whites are gonna think about how blacks are being portrayed in movies. I think Spike is jealous of Tyler's success because Spike's movies haven't made as much money as Tyler's movies. I saw Tyler's new movie Madea's Big Happy Family last weekend and i liked it a lot. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time and i laughed a lot. I hope he does a few more Madea movies. Only problem i have with Tyler is his wack Meet The Browns tv show. That show needs to be cancelled.

I wanna know how come Tyler's critics never say anything about his movies not having violence, cursing, sex which is in most black movies. Only R rated movie he's done is For Colored Girls but his other movies are PG-13.
