I wasn't born yet when The Waltons originally aired in the 70s. And I didn't see it at all in the 80s, 90s, or 00s. I saw parts of it last year, and I saw a full episode for the first time this year. I've been watching it a lot lately with it being on three channels. The Waltons has quickly become one of my favorite shows and a shoo-in for my next top 100.

I first saw The Waltons in December 1971 when The Homecoming aired. I was a regular watcher through all 9 years of the tv show. It was my Mom's favorite show and since there were no VCR's I had to watch it.It was a great family show though and I wish the networks would start programing for the family again.

I watched The Waltons during it's original run from 72 to 81. I currently watch it on Vision TV which airs the show on weekdays here in Canada. I also own the first three seasons and all the reunion movies on DVD. I hope to eventually purchase the remaining seasons on DVD as well.

I can remember watching episodes during its original run, but I really caught up on the series years after that in reruns.

I don't actually remember when I saw my first episode, but I do know I was little when I saw it. And I've been a fan ever since.

I was born in 72 and I recall watcing during the original run, although I don't recall the first episode I had seen. I remember watching it and loving the show but forgetting some details such as how Ike and Corabeth first met. Forgetting about Mary Ellen being engaged to David and leaving him for Curt and totally not knowing about her second marriage. I forgot about Erin's spouse but then remembered that hottie Drew, Elizabeth's main squeeze. Put it this way, I remembered enough to still love the show.

Me, I remember "The Homecoming" when it first aired. I was HOOKED on the show and if we were anywhere on Thursday evenings, I would yell at my mom to "Hurry up and get home!!! 'The Waltons' starts in 10 minutes!!!!!"

I remember watching some of the later years on the original run. The Early years of the show when I was too young I saw in re-runs.

The Homecoming, the Christmas story . I remember my Mother explaining to me about the depression and how things were back than. And of course my Mom loved the Homecoming, I did too. Than we always watched the Waltons throughout the run of the series. And I watched again recently on Hallmark.
Awww! Look how little Jim-Bob was . |
