It's not a reunion, but more of a behind-the-scenes movie similar to the ones done for "Gilligan's Island" and "Partridge Family" recently.
From the Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hol...ent_id=1232613): NBC develops 'Three's Company' telefilm Jan. 03, 2002 NBC has a thing for old ABC series. The peacock is developing a telefilm based on all the behind-the-scenes drama that has made "Three's Company" a staple of "E! True Hollywood Story" and the rest of the tell-all/whatever-happened-to circuit. The sitcom, which ran on ABC from 1977-84, was savaged by critics but ranked as a top five Nielsen hit in the late 1970s. Suzanne Somers, who co-starred in the comedy with John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt, made headlines in 1980 when she held out for a huge raise and a cut of the show's syndication profits (she was soon written out), and no doubt the Chrissy crisis will be a key plot point in the telefilm. NBC's interest in the "Three's Company" milieu comes on the heels of CBS' success with its "Surviving Gilligan's Island" telefilm. But peacock insiders note that NBC was on the ABC sitcom dirt-dishing beat back in 2000 with its "Brady Bunch" telefilm based on cast member Barry Williams' memoir "Growing Up Brady."(Cynthia Littleton) |

Well, that's good. Oh well, NBC can't say that they care about their series more then ABC. I mean, ABC did "the Facts of Life" and FOX did the Behind Diff'rent Strokes movie. Sorry for all that stuff right before that doesn't have a thing to do with this, I'm just mad at TV Guide for sorta bashing ABC for not picking up a "Roots" 25th Anniversary thing.
Can't wait though! Hopefully one day there will be an actual reunion movie, and maybe some of the TC cast will make cameos? |

NBC is creating a TV-Movie of Three's Company. Hopefully a Reunion will also be in the works soon, if all goes well, both could air back to back for the 25th Anniversary!

Yeah . . . I am so glad that a "Three's Company" movie is in the making. I bet it is going to be good and very insightful. Hopefully, we'll see some of the cast members in the movie. Let's hope so.

No they HAVE to have people play Jenilee Harrison and Priscilla Barnes. They were part of the show and both of them stirred a little bit of controversy on the set.

The only way this movie will tell the full story and probably have the full participation of the cast is if it's based on the book "Come and Knock on Our Door," by Chris Mann. Otherwise, the NBC movie will look like a cheap knock-off, like the Fox Brady Bunch and Diff'rent Strokes "movies" in 2000.
