Question Has Anyone Ever Had Kosher Coca-Cola?

Around March-April (Passover) Coca-Cola releases a special version of Coca-Cola that caters towards the Jews.

The "Kosher Coke" caps are yellow and there is a seal on it from the Orthodox Jewish Union saying that the product is kosher.

This version of Cola-Cola does not use corn syrup and uses real sugar instead.

I live near a Jewish neighborhood so I see these Kosher Cokes a lot around here. I don't think they're available everywhere and there are other Kosher versions of sodas around; Pepsi, Sprite, and Sierra Mist.

Has anyone had any of the Kosher sodas? I'm not too crazy about the Kosher Coke.

I haven't (probably not a big enough Jewish community where I live), but I've heard about the product for years. I have had Mexican Coke, which I believe uses the same formula.

I'm a big proponent of sugar making a comeback in our soft drinks. I absolutely love Pepsi Throwback and find that it "goes down" easier than its HFCS counterpart.

I'm totally out of the loop - I never even knew there was such a thing as kosher Coca-Cola.

I looked into this more and Kosher Coca-Cola is available in:

New York City
Boston
Baltimore
Miami
Atlanta
Houston
Philadelphia
Los Angeles

Another interesting fact is that this Kosher Coca-Cola is originally how Coca-Cola was made. High-fructose corn syrup became the standard in the 1980s. It was around this time that Coca-Cola began experimenting with the formula (New Coke).

When New Coke flopped the corn syrup became the standard and hasn't changed again since, but Coca-Cola started getting rid of the sugar around the '70s.

Default fat blocking soda

There are so many soda drinks are in the market. But this is a Special one. Soda isn't really typically the very first consumable substance that comes to mind when losing weight is topic of discussion. However, PepsiCo would like to change the game for Japanese consumers with its latest release, Pepsi Special. The business claims that this brand new fat-blocking Pepsi drink contains dextrin, a non-digestible starch found in some baked solutions that will supposedly raise the consumer's metabolism and really burn fat.

James, off-topic, but of what descent are you? Most New Yorkers are either of Jewish, Puerto Rican, French-Canadian, or Italian descent.

Coke is always Kosher even if it's not passover. During passover there must be stricker dietary laws. Look on the top of the cap of a 2 liter bottle for example, there will be a U in a circle, that U means that the product is Kosher.
