Carlos' mother's death - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have somewhat forgotten just how Carlos' mother's death involves Andrew.
I do remember mother Solis who didn't care much for Gabby was hospitalized. She was somewhat on the mend and went to the hall way to check on something and slipped down a flight of stairs. Gabby knew of the death and ?? covered it up and the Solis did get a settlement. So if Andrew hit the woman, which I guess happened, he really didn't kill her.. Was he drunk and hit the woman. I would think he would get some penalty, go to AAA and lose his license but Carlos, Bree and Gabby have got him pegged

She ran out into the street & Andrew hit her with his car & his parents helped cover it up. I seem to recall she had some kind of proof of Gabrielle's affair with John in her hand or pocket & Gabrielle took it. I also believe she was in a coma for a short time. It's been a long time since I've watched those episodes so I'm a little fuzzy on the details. I think he'd been drinking at the time of the accident.

I was hoping the show would have a recap of the situation. It has been so long that I only remember Mother Solis's chat with Gabby and mothers hospitalization and the tumble down the stairs. THe way the tumble down the stairs went,I had to laugh. It looks as she slipped on banana peel. Sad that she died. I did want more scenes with Gabby.
