The entire 435 episode DVD Set

I realize we have talked about it before and we were all dubious of the quality. I just wondered if anyone has purchased the set and if so, what is your review? Here is one of the sites offering it:

I personally wouldnt buy that many of those episodes if not all are available for free through public archives, I think its a rip off.

I have a friend with whom I've traded some episodes, and his son bought him this set for a gift a while back. He said there's less than 1/2 of the 435 episodes and the quality is not good at all. I got a couple of episodes from him from the set, just because they were episodes I didn't have and wanted. They are maybe 21 minutes long and either grainy or washed out, or bad audio, you name it.

Definitely a waste of money. Very unfortunate for him, but I'm glad I found that out, because I've been very tempted in the past.

Sigh, its a sad truism that if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Thanks for the heads up (I'm praying Mill Creek will come out with another release...or Shout!)
