From what I remember about the sitcom, it had Donna Pescow from Saturday night fever, and had Rober Hayes as her Pediatrition husband. And a young Doris Roberts as her mom. It has been so many years since I seen the show that I do not remember all of it.

Donna Pescow played Angie, a waitress from a blue collar family who lived with her Mom (Doris Roberts) and her sister(Debralee Scott). She meets and marries a doctor(Robert Hays) and tries to adapt to living with his wealthy family in their mansion. So it is basically a fish out of water premise. To complicate matters the Doctor's mother doesn't approve of his choice of wife and does her best to make things even more difficult for Angie.

Thanks guys for the info! Was the show any good or was it typical sitcom formula?

I'll admit it was quite formulaic but the talent and quality of the cast raised it above the level of most formula sitcoms at least in my opinion.

I liked the show although I think the first season was better than the second. I remember ABC used to air it on weekday mornings in the early 80's. It also had one of the best sitcom theme songs of all time.
