Was Rubin Kencade in the unaired lost pilot of the partridge family

I would rather know if the lost pilot exists, anywhere. (?) If The Partridge Family were in the hands of anyone besides Sony, we might have had a chance of having it on dvd.

The unaired pilot was almost exactly the same as the first episode that aired except Laurie had a couple more lines that made her sound more radical and there was an extra tag scene where Shirley was escorted home from a date by her love interest. That love interest, who didn't appear in the actual series, was played by Jack Cassidy who was David's father and at the time was Shirley Jones' husband. To answer your question Ruben Kincaid did appear in the unaired pilot.
