Dennis the Menace - Summer Schedule for a 'Season 2' Set

Season 1 just hit stores two weeks ago, and the studio isn't making fans wait long for the follow-up! In an early alert to retailers, Shout! Factory and distributor Vivendi Entertainment are saying that Dennis the Menace - Season 2 will be available on July 26th. Described as "all 38 original uncut episodes in a 5-disc set", the cost for this 915-minute collection is $29.93 SRP...but you can already pre-order Season 2 from Amazon at a discount! Box art and other details haven't been finalized at this time, but stay tuned and we'll update you when possible.

That is awesome news, I look forward to it.

All these years I have been waiting and when they finally put it back on tv here come the DVD's.

Wow, I didn't expect a season 2 announcement so quickly. I would like to have seasons 1, 2, and 3 of this show, at this rate maybe the 3rd season will be out at the end of the year in time for the holidays.

Great news! I guess Season 1 really sold well in order to get Season 2 so quickly.

I want season 4 out too!!! Although, I realize Jay kind of out grew the role, I'm anxious to see the Gale Gordon episodes, too!

Well, even if it doesn't, at least the first 2 season sets will both have the Christmas eps.

TVShowsonDVD posted the official press release and it looks like the only extra we will be getting this time is original promos. Not really surprising since Season 2 was announced shortly after Season 1. There probably wasn't much time to gather/record more material.
