It could be the daughters of Blair, Jo, Tootie and Natalie and Lisa, Nancy, Kim and Mindy could all make occasional appearances. I think it is has potential.

It wouldn't work as well as it did for the original. Remember, Blair had NO children. If she had a kid shortly after 2001, they'd be very young. Jo's kid was close to a teenager in 2001. FOL ended in 1988. So she was born sometime in the early 1990s.

Natalie and Blair's kids would be very young right now, IF they had any after the reunion in 2001, and they'd be around 8-10 years old right now. Jo and Tootie's would be 18+. It wouldn't work, unless they aged Natalie and Blair's kids. However, I do think one last reunion would work with everyone together to see what became of one another since 2001. Charlotte Rae is really getting on in years, and the time is right to make one now before it's too late to make another with her.

Sorry folks, but I would feel pretty confident the 2001 telefilm was our last reunion, and the TVLand Awards were the last public get-together we'll see (until the passing of one of the stars).

Kim said it best after the TVLand Awards... something to the effect of "TFOL was not the destination, it was just a great part of the journey of our lives."

I don't think it would work in today's world unless it was very edgy and raunchy.

A remake of the sitcom SOAP would be a huge success. Susan Harris needs to remake this one, such a dramatic funny classic.
