Mine has to be Linda Lavin and Martha Raye singing "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" in a 1982 episode of Alice. YIKES!!!!

Yeah, that was...yeah.

First thing that popped into my head was that dreadful/cheesy Gilligan's Island movie where the Harlem Globetrotters guest starred (oddly titled "The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island") and played robots in a game of basketball!

(Dang, we're talking about robots a lot tonight!)

I never saw that TV movie, but it doesn't sound like I'm missing much.

^ I loved GI, but yeah, even as a sixteen year old I kind of understood they were hitting the bottom of the barrel. The cast (sans Tina Louise and Jim Backus, who only put in a cameo at the end, and was obviously ill) even looked tired and bored.

I'm sure they enjoyed working with each other again, but yeah, I'm equally sure the check was what they had on their minds when they read that dreary script.

With the exception of Tina Louise, the rest of the cast always seemed very close. So I have to agree with you here.

i agree when i first saw the ep i just could not believe what i was seeing
