Yep, I did.
The guy has a fried chicken business located in my general area and a friend and I checked it out Saturday. We had no idea he'd be there; the place has been open for about a month, so I figured things wouldn't be too crowded and would be calm. But he greeted us almost immediately as we walked in the door, welcomed us and told us that if there were any problems whatsoever, he'd be glad to take care of them for us, though he didn't think there'd be any. He also added he'd be available at the door when we left in case we wished to pose for a picture with him. He actually spoke with me a bit more after we were done eating and my friend was in the rest room. He asked me how the meal was and when I told him I was very pleased (not lying) he grabbed his chest and said "Ohhh, that's just what I needed to hear...". I told him he'd gotten a new customer, and he seemed pleased. We didn't get a picture with him, as he was out back when we left and we didn't really mind. I had barely heard of him before, though my friend reminded me of his romance with Brigette Nielsen on some reality show (was it Big Brother?). His music blared throughout the restaurant, though. That's not really my type of music but for what it was, it wasn't bad. And the food was good. I'm sure it wasn't too healthy, and the side order portions could have been larger, but the chicken was quite good and the price was very reasonable I thought. So there's my story!
