Default UM Places That You'd Like To Visit

For any reason whatsoever.

- I wouldn't mind visiting the tropical island Amelia Earhart could have crashed on.

- I'm sure the Blind River Rest Stop is a nice little quiet place too.

I want to, and will hopefully soon, visit the breckenridge area to visit the oberholtzer/schnee crime scenes. I have been really into this case as of late and would love to go to that area.

Also, Kurt Sova locations...I am only 3.5 hours away, but have yet to make it...

Ideally I would love to go to all of them. I actually get more excited about these locations than actual movie filming locations. I guess the reality of it all and the fact that someone who I seem to now "know" has died at this particular location. Something spiritual or moving about it.

I think I wouldn't mind visiting the house where "Rainboy" manifested his phenomena. I used to live near the area, and I always wondered where exactly the locations were.

And I would totally visit the house where the teenage arsonist videotaped his fire and rant to "Omar," but I'd have to do it on my weeks' vacation...

The area where the Katherine Korzilius incident happened, to try and better work out just what was going on there.

I wouldn't mind having a drink or two at the St. James Hotel in Cimmaron, NM and staying the night there.

Also, I'd like to retrace and visit the Zodiac crime scenes in the Bay Area (where Paul Stine was murdered, walk the steps where the Zodiac was supposedly stopped by police and let go, etc.) for some morbid reason, plus the Bay Area would be just beautiful to visit, a friend of mine went there recently.
Happening place so he says....

The same friend showed me pics of him standing by the 'miracle staircase' when he went to visit. That was pretty cool to see.

Also, the General Wayne Inn for same reasons stated above (read St. James)
and Toledo, OH and the Cynthia Anderson locations like Manhattan Plaza and such (currently into the Cynthia Anderson case right now)

EDIT: General Wayne Inn has apparently been purchased and converted into a synagogue and Center for Jewish Life, still would like to go check it out though.

I think I read somewhere that the house is Stroudsburg, PA where the "Rainboy" incident took place has since been demolished.

Oddly, I've been in that area several times, because I know somebody that used to live in Stroudsburg, and I would drive up there from time to time so she and I could go shopping at the Stroud Mall, but it never crossed my mind to look for the house. I'm not sure if the pizza place across the street is still there, but if it is, maybe you might want to try eating there. It might provide you with the type of surreal experience you'd like to have.

Personally, I wouldn't mind eating at some of the restaurants that have been seen in some segments, such as Shooters on the Waterfront in Cleveland, Ohio (the bogus countess segment). I'm pretty sure that place is still there. Or the Moss Beach Distillery (the Blue Lady segment). And, even though I'm not a big lover of Mexican food, I think there would just be something truly whimsical about trying Moises Treves' place "Such Is Life."

I think it would be interesting to visit the town of Bradford, PA (where Dale Kerstetter went missing). Just seemed like an interesting "blue collar" town to visit, plus I'd like to see what the Corning plant looks like in person.

You could have a nice moonlight picnic at the Blind River Rest Stop picnic area

It would be interesting to see the desolate area where Don Kemp's van was found idling. I would also be interested to see the area where Wanda Jean Mays went missing and was later found. The Wacker's house and the surrounding area would also be interesting to see.

I would like to move to Silver Plume. It just seems like a nice, calm, chill place to live.

I'd like to visit the area where the Son of Sam was arrested. At night too! that would be a crazy experience.

Default If I'm ever in Montana....

I'm so going to the Bad Route Rest Area, where Dexter Stefonx's car was set on fire.

-Clinton, Missouri aka the town where Angela Hammond was abducted.

-I'd like to visit Myrtle Point, Oregon. (Jeremy Bright case took place there) It'd be interesting to speak to the locals about the case.
