We got a chance to chat with The Miz earlier this week at a NYC 'WrestleMania' press event, where scores of fans invaded the Hard Rock Cafe to chant "awesome" in adoration.

Hot off the heels of his appearance on "Conan" last week, where he dubbed the late night host "The Ginja Ninja," Miz explained why he felt Conan O'Brien needed a new nickname.






Have you issued a formal challenge to Conan.. what was the wrestling name that you gave him?

Conan... The 'Ginja Ninja'?

Well I first gave him 'The C.O.B.', which I thought was cool, you know Conan O' Brien.. The C.O.B... the original Late-Night G. I thought that was a good one and nobody liked it.




So then we went with 'The Red-Headed Mess of TBS'.. you know "Red Headed and Un-leaded" was his catchphrase.

People kind of got it...




But then when I went for 'Ginja Ninja', like the whole place erupted. Then 'Step into my dojo mofo' as his catchphrase is incredible.

I didn't like 'Coco', that's not a good superstar name. I mean that's Conan O'Brien, he fought, kicked, and screamed his way back onto Late Night for all of us... for all of our entertainment.



People were gonna call him 'Coco'? Really?? Really??

No, gotta give him an interesting name that says 'I'm domineering and entertaining but don't mess with me' - The 'Ginga Ninja'
