Help identifying 2 cases PLEASE.....lol
1.This was a case about a family ...I wanna say of POrtuguese descent in the Modesto, CA area...who were ripped off by a psychic. She did some sort of ritual involving a chicken and money. Sorry I wish I could remember more. 2. The other case involved women who would meet men in hotels, drug their drinks and steal their money. One of the guys featured in this case was of Indian descent I think. thanks everyone! |

This one was Kelly Finnegan. I felt bad for the Indian man in the segment - here he thinks he is going to get lucky, and bam - he gets ripped off. This segment was kind of funny, though, simply because of the cheesy "I'm gonna get some" sax music in the background. Also because the victim in this (and I think he may have played himself in the re-enactment) had the greatest moustache I have ever seen. Another thing that made it funny was the way they made it look like this guy was so desparate to get some. Kelly even asked him at one point to shave (as a segueway to her drugging his drink) and they show him in the bathroom 2 seconds later all lathered up. God bless the guy for coming forward, I think most men would have taken their licks (or lack thereof) and moved on. |

I want to say the woman's name in the first one was Elena Souza, or something like that. I remember the story well.

However, I'm willing to bet bet the guy got a lot of sympathy dates from his appearance on UM. I'm sure some women probably found his honesty pretty endearing, though if any of them asked him to shave off his moustache, I hope he knew enough to hightail it outta there .

With Kelly Finnegan, she also did this same scam on former MLB umpire Terry Tata, and made off with over 16, 000 dollars in valuables, including 2 World Series rings.
It's a shame she got off, because I'd like to know how she fenced the WS rings. |
