Svengoolie goes national on METV - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Starting April 2 Chicago horror host Svengoolle will be seen on METV at 10 pm est. Looks like they will be running the Universal classics as the first two weeks are Brides of Dracula, and Dracula's Daughter. If you haven't seen his show, its great. Reminds me of the old Shock Theater days. Dennis

I like his show -- my favorites are some of the spoof songs they do, and spoofs of commercials like "Svenards" instead of "Menards" (the home improvement chain).

Another great song was when a bubbling robot (soap bubbles) appeared in a sci-fi movie they showed. Svengoolie: "When I start bubbling, I'm like Lawrence Welk!" LOL ~!
