I had no idea Rescue From Gilligan's Island was even available on DVD but I found a copy this afternoon at Value Village! It's put out by a company called DIGIVIEW Productions.

Rescue from Gilligan's Island is in the public domain, it's probably been issued by more than one company.

...for some reason, failed to have its copyright renewed by 2006, and entered the public domain. Digiview's copy is probably the best of the various DVD firms that have issued it. I seem to recall it was also released in a "package" that included the "feature" version of four re-edited episodes of "DUSTY'S TRAIL" (Sherwood Schwartz's 1973-'74 attempt to produce an "Old West" variation of "GILLIGAN", again starring Bob Denver), "The Wackiest Wagon Train In the West".

Many of the pd versions of Rescue From Gilligan's Island, are edited badly and don't even include the updated opening and closing credits! I bought a dvd-r of it on I-offer, which is completely uncut and is great quality. I also later got the other 2 movies, complete but have yet to get through them.
