"The Real Housewives of D.C." Has Been Canceled
One branch of Bravo’s "The Real Housewives" franchise has reportedly been axed, reports RadarOnline.com. The website reports that "The Real Housewives of D.C." will not be coming back for a second season.
Poor ratings are being cited as the reason for the cancellation, as "D.C." never lived up to the numbers generated by "Real Housewives" editions based in Atlanta, Orange County, New York City and New Jersey. The website also reported that the latest "Real Housewives," the Miami incarnation, is also lagging in the Nielsens.
