Arrow "Father Knows Best" - the CLOSING theme

Of the 3,which did you like the best?1)The one that was used from the 1954-1955 to the 1957-1958 season(I think) 2)-The one that was used in the 1958-1959 season or 3)The lively one that was used in the 1959-1960 season? .The first one was slow, and kinda somber. The second one was okay,a little bit livelier.I liked the third one.It was really lively. What do the rest of you think?Which was your favorite closing theme to "Father Knows Best"?Feel free to post.

I think they changed the theme sometimes in season 5, then again for 6. I liked the newest one best.

In a related note, does it seem to you that the theme music in general is kind of a ripoff of "I'll Be Home for Christmas"?

The theme song in the TV version of Father Knows Best is titled "Waiting". Although the version of the song used on the show was an instrumental, it does have words.

I'm torn between the season 5 and 6 versions but I'll go with season 6. I like the reorchestrations they did. I really wish Antenna TV would show the credits intact or at least show the openings intact. They have two favorite openings they slap on the beginning of every show that doesn't always correspond to the episodes.

The openings are part of the syndication prints--I remember them always being this way. Sony did no apparent work remastering these episodes--just run the tired syndication prints (probably from videotape) onto the digital format of choice, bad edits and wrong openers still intact. The original network openers were different for each season, and sometimes even different depending on sponsor.

The sixth season closing theme was bungled on the Shout DVD set, and they used the same theme as the later fifth season. If Antenna did play the closing credits intact, the theme would be the correct one.
