Here is the original script for the killing of James Evans-lol
In the May 13, 1976 Jet Magazine Issue the information below
John Amos was written out of the first four scripts for the 4th season of Good Times and will be mentioned as being away from his Chicago home and working on the Alaskan pipeline. The script says that he lost his Chicago job because the firm went bankrupt. The first four episodes he will be talked about by other members of the family. After the fourth episode the writers will probably do something drastic like kill him off-which will give us a widow family head.: This obviouskly never happened-lol |
