Billy Ray Cyrus told the ladies of The View that he has called off his divorce from wife Tish.

"I've dropped the divorce," the 49-year-old country star said during an interview scheduled to air on Friday. "I want to put my family back together ... Things are the best they've ever been."

The couple, who have five children including 18-year-old Miley, announced their decision to divorce in October. "As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," they said at the time in a joint statement.

Two months later, a video of Miley smoking the herb salvia out of a bong went viral. In an interview with GQ magazine in February, Billy Ray said he felt Miley's hit Disney show Hannah Montana had "destroyed" their family and said he was worried his daughter was "in a great deal of danger."

Following the interview, the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer said he was working on mending his family and, according to him, his efforts seemed to have paid off.

"I feel like I got my Miley back," he said on The View during a taping Thursday. "I feel like we're the daddy and daughter we were before Hannah Montana."

God bless the Cyrus family...I hope they are truly able to work things out and come through these troubles stronger than ever as a family. So far, it seems they are on the right track.
