1)1960's "Calcutta"(an instrumental top 10-Number one hit by (of all people-but it's 100% true-the late Lawrence Welk). 2)1961's instrumental "Apache",a #2 hit by Jorgan Ingmann 3)1962's "Smoky Places" by the Corsairs(...bongo drums..mmmmeeting in Smoky Places.Hiding in shadowy corners.Going where no one knows our faces...sharing love stolen in the night,in Smoky Places"It got to #12.4)1965's "A Walk in the Black Forest"by German pianist Horst Jankowski( a good,peppy instrumental-#12),and 5)1968's "We Can Fly" by the Cowsills(#21-A good one-this was their first follow-up to their 1967 #2 hit "The Rain,the Park and Other Things"-then came 1968's "Indian Lake"(#10) and 1969's "Hair"(#2).
