I prefer N. Weatherly with it's sunken living room and shag carpeting. I also like that Rhoda lived just above Mary and Phyllis just below her when she lived there.

I'd have to say 119 North Weatherly, although I liked Mary's other apartment too. But her first one just made it more lived in-like. Plus Rhoda originally wanted it!

Any place Mary chose to hang her 'M' was fine with me, but the Weatherly apartment was a little more cozy.

Weatherly apt anyday. I didn't like the other one much, why didn't they give her new friends/neighbors in the highrise building. Although Ted got married there and Georgette gave birth there, I always missed the older house apt where Rhoda and Phyllis had lived.

I agree, I even felt cozy just watching the episodes in that apt.! I always wanted to make a place feel that cozy. So for me, it's 119 north weatherly!!!!

Maybe it's due to my memories of watching the original show in its later seasons, but I have always pictured Mary living in a high rise. It took me a while to realize (later) that it was two different locations, and the idea of just living in a room in a "house" was kind of odd. So, I think the high rise was actually an improvement in some ways.

I thought N.Weatherly was a cool place even if it didn't have a bedroom. The room was huge and she had it decorated so neat. The high rise fit Mary later in the series as she became a little more sophisticated and confident. But N.Weatherly will always be special because that's where Rhoda lived too.

Yup, gotta go with Weatherly. It got there first, so it did kind of have a "head start" to my heart.
