Posts: 63,107	Was David Ogden Stiers Character (Mel Price) Supposed to Be A Regular on 'TMTMS?' Before he was cast on MAS*H, Stiers did TMTMS as a network executive named Mel Price. Was he intended to be a regular or even a semi regular on the show? If so, what happened? Anybody know???
