What do you like to drink? I'll go first:
--- I drink mostly loose-leaf tea. I drink all kinds of tea: black tea, green tea, oolong tea, white tea, Pu-erh. I love Indian, Chinese, Japanese, and Taiwanese teas, I'm probably most enthusiastic about teas from China. My favorite white tea is Shou Mei. My favorite black tea is probably Darjeeling. I can't pick a favorite green tea because I like so many kinds; among the Japanese green teas I love kukicha. It's not really tea, but I also like herbal tea, especially lemon balm, green rooibos, and tulsi (holy basil). My favorite company to order from is Upton Tea Imports, but I order from a lot of different companies. |

Tetley British Blend black tea. I used to drink strictly Lipton but I now prefer stronger black breakfast teas with plenty of sugar. There's nothing more satisfying and therapeutic as a nice hot cup of tea especially when I have a cold.

Lipton's and Tetley black tea.
Also, Darjeeling. Darjeeling alone is good, but if you mix it with Earl Grey, Iranian-style, it's awesome. People who like the blend with loose tea use one or the other following proportions, 1/2 Darjeeling, 1/2 Earl Grey--or-- 3/4 Darjeeling, 1/4 Earl Grey Sometimes I have Earl Grey alone. It is an awesome tea; try it! I mainly drink tea on weekend afternoons or evenings, not every day. I'm mainly into coffee which I drink every day! |
