Disappeared while home sick

I am fighting the flu this week and I've been thinking about the UM cases that involved people who disappeared while they were supposed to be home sick. Seems like there are several, but all I can remember right now is Charlotte Pollis. Who are the others?

I do remember that Jeanine Nicarico was home sick from school when she was abducted and murdered.

Not a disappearance case, but Sarah Powell was home sick from school when the gang of people broke in and tied her up for no apparent reason and then stole nothing from the house.

I just about to state this as soon as I read the topic thread.

Her case makes me very angry and sad, because she did absolutely nothing to put herself into a dangerous situation: she was home, it was the early afternoon, and the doors into the house were all locked. I've read that she called her Mom at work during lunchtime just to talk with her, shortly before that complete POS broke down the front door of the house and saw/found her and took her.

I basically know what happened to her after that, but what I wondered was: did Jeanine go to sleep after talking with her Mom? Did Brian Dugan break in while she was sleeping? Because you would think it would be pretty loud when someone's kicking your front door so many times until it breaks. Did she run out of her room to see what the noise was and then he saw her, got to her, and grabbed her or did she stay in her room until he found her? Did she lock the door to her room, assuming she heard the noises? Did she try to call 911? We already know she had a phone in the room with her, since she called her Mom.

If anyone knows more of the details to my questions, I would appreciate if you could share them. I know it doesn't bring Jeanine back, but I'm just curious to how everything unfolded once Dugan started kicking/trying to break down the front door.

Also, did he know Jeanine was there alone? Is that why he targeted that house in the early afternoon?
