At one time Hoda was an award winning news reporter, now she is relegated to doing a morning chat fest with Kathie Lee Gifford. Do you think that this is a step down for her career.

...I hadn't known about Hoda until she began hosting "the fourth hour" of "THE TODAY SHOW" with Kathie Lee. I haven't heard reports of her attempting to slash her wrists or swallow sleeping pills {or worse} after her daily appearances, so I guess she's content with being on television- even if she's co-hosting with...."Kathie Lee".

Of course, this assignment is not as prestigious or challenging as her previous work- but it's a job, and people have to work, in order to eat. It's certainly better than being a door-to-door salesperson...or cleaning out cesspools....or being a babysitter to unappreciative brats....or being a highly-paid executive in a big corporation where no one knows exactly what they're in business for, so long as they ACT as if they know what they're doing....or driving a school bus, or dynamite truck...or being {fill in your own "dull everyday job" here}.

Relegated? Her exposure on Today is incredibly great -- and I'm sure her paycheck is even greater! (LOL)
Not everyone needs to be the next Edward R. Murrow...
