You can tell Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter are genuinely friends. They are like the 80s version of Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore. I remember the romantic scenes between Steven and Elyse look real and genuine. They were a great couple to watch but I wish there were more storylines about their relationship.

Yes, you can tell how true a friend MG has been to MB through the years. It was also touching to see him hug her kids during the Oprah appearance. One more thing - I've always thought it is so cool that the two of them share the exact same birthdate: June 21, 1947. How often does THAT happen?
