What an endearing cast on "Family Affair"! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I really like all the core cast members of FA--Brian Keith, Sebastian Cabot, Kathy Garver, Anissa Jones and Johnny Whitaker.

It is just such a shame and tragedy that Anissa Jones had such a poor family life in real life. What a darling child she was. Perhaps if she had had a better more supporting family life, she would not have died at the age of 18.

It's such a shame when people close to someone in trouble like Anissa was as a small child aren't able to step in and change the course of a bad situation. Example, I'm sure that the adult actors such as Keith, Garver and Cabot were aware of Anissa's poor home life and I wish they had had the power to separate Anissa from her real parents. Perhaps Anissa could have been placed with foster parents.

"Family Affair" is one of my most beloved programs from the sixties.
The casting was perfect, IMO.
