it was a case about a girl visiting her friend. Then when she never returned the parents went over to the friends house and discovered it was burned down and later the bodies of the friend's parents were found but the girls were nowhere to be seen. Some feel the police were involved. Any info or threads on this case?

As of this, they're still missing. I remember hearing, several years ago, that there was a murderer who said he'd killed them and dumped their bodies. When he told police where, however, they didn't find them.

Yes, I remember this one. If I remember correctly, there were several different theories. One was that one of the girl's fathers was involved in a nasty feud with the local sheriff's department. Another was that the two girls set the trailer on fire themselves and skipped town. As far as I know, this one has never been solved.
