No Ordinary Family is, hands down, my favorite current TV series. It
nicely fills the void left by the demise of Heroes and offers a way cool,
serious, live-action spin on the Disney/Pixar cartoon feature "The Incredibles."
Involved in a bizarre airplane accident, suddenly a normal family is gifted with
super powers and abilities. The father (played by Michael Chiklis) is super-
strong and virtually invincible; the mother (Julie Benz) has super-speed; the
daughter is able to read minds and control others' thoughts; and the son is
a super-brainiac. Recently, they've learned that there are other "supers" out
there, with special abilities. Stephen Collins (who in the past has usually
played nice guys like Jake Cutter on Tales of the Gold Monkey or
Reverend Camden on 7th Heaven) here is cast as the heavy, an
unscrupulous man who has been conducting experiments on subjects, giving
them super-powers (and who happens to be Julie Benz's boss). I haven't been a fan of ABC in recent years, but (in my opinion) this is the best show
to appear on that network in a long time. I hope that it's a hit!

Default Yes, "NO ORDINARY FAMILY" is a good series...

...the only problem is that it's up against three other popular shows- CBS' "NCIS", FOX's "GLEE" and NBC's "THE BIGGEST LOSER". Each of the others has their loyal audience as well, and ABC wants something to "stand out". So far, "NO ORDINARY FAMILY" hasn't, and now they're deciding what to do with it. Either they'll stick with it [and move it to another night and/or time], or just "cut their losses". I certainly hope it's renewed for season two...

Well it probably goes without saying but Frasier is my number one show and Seinfeld has now moved to second place. And believe me, for that to happen is huge. Seinfeld has been my ultimate favorite ever since the 90's.

No matter how many hundreds of millions these girls make,
they come across as terribly sweet and precious, honest and
sincere. I love them and their entire family.
They are hugely entertaining and fun to watch in my book.

I have many, many favorites, but out of all of them. The Brady Bunch is my all time number one favorite.
