Charlie Sheen's Publicist Resigns

Charlie Sheen's longtime publicist, Stan Rosenfield, has resigned.

"I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much. However, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned," Rosenfield said in a statement.

Rosenfield has stood by the actor throughout his troubled past, including his divorces, arrests and most recently, his outbursts that lead to CBS shutting down the production of his show, "Two and a Half Men".

The PR agent also represents high profile actors Robert De Niro, George Clooney, Kelsey Grammer and Morgan Freeman, among others.

You know you career is in trouble when... even the people who have stood by you through all kinds of messy situations are choosing to walk away and call it a day. This is yet another nail in the coffin of Charlie Sheen's career.
