Character Profiles:

King Victor: He is 46 the leader of the fictional country of Corinthia and has been King since he was 27 years old.

He is a very cunning and deceptive man but he loves his family very much

He wishes for his son Alaric to settle down and take a wife and produce an heir to the throne

He at first is not too happy when he finds out about the relationship between Alaric and Paris but soon he finds in it himself to accept their loving relationship

He is never more happier when he becomes a grandfather to Alaric and Paris' son Xandros

Queen Sophie: She is 44 and the King's dutiful wife and Queen of Corinthia

She does alot of charitable work and often visits the sick and elderly

She is one of the first few who are happy for Alaric when he finds his true love and soul mate in Prince Paris

She is also very happy to be a grandmother

Prince Alaric: He is at just 26 years old the Commander of Corinthia's army and is a feared and tough warrior

His body shows the proof of that as he is scarred and bruised

He pretty much sleeps with anything that moves be it a woman or man and has many conquests

His father wants him to take a wife and give him an heir to the throne

His life dramatically changes when his brother Tristan brings back Prince Paris of Gath as a present for him

Alaric is completely captivated by Paris' beauty

Tristan's intentions were for Paris to be Alaric's new pleasure slave but Alaric sees something more and wishes to pursue a relationship with the young prince who is scared and nervous

Alaric soons finds out it was his brother Tristan and friends who were responsible as it was Tristan and friends who repeatedly raped and tortured young Paris and this infuriates Alaric who vows to protect Paris from his brother and his men

As time goes on Alaric and Paris acknowledge their love for the other and they consumate the relationship

Paris tells Alaric he has been blessed with Aphrodite' gift of fertility and is able to conceive and carry a child

This very much pleases Alaric and he asks Paris to marry him which Paris accepts and soon they have a son named Xandros

Alaric first meets Paris when he is home for several days on rest as he was injured and the others return early with the young Prince in tow

He and brother Tristan have in intense rivalry but what Tristan has done to Paris totally tears them apart

Prince Paris: He is just 19 years old and the son of King Silas and Queen Helen of Gath

Gath is a small neighboring country to Corinthia and they are bitter rivals to Corinthia

Corinthia's army of 1000 men easily destroy Gath's 300 soldiers and they make their way to the Palace and destroy priceless belongings of Paris' family

They ruthlessly kill King Silas and Queen Helen while Paris is forced to watch and is taken captive and used as a pleasure slave and raped and tortured by Prince Tristan

Paris is beauty beyond compare with his blonde curly locks, soft skin and blue eyes

Because of his beauty and fertility the men don't kill him

He is grief stricken as he was helpless to save and defend his family as his father protected him and didn't want him to get hurt so he never was trained to use a bow and arrow

Tristan and his men dress Paris in the finest Chiton as he is presented to Prince Alaric and he has heard stories about Alaric's toughness and all in an instant he looks in Alaric's eyes and senses that things will be different then what his brother has done to him

He is of course very nervous and scared but Alaric tells him not to fear him as he will not harm him

Alaric tells him he wishes to pursue a relationship

They share alot of secrets and begin to acknowledge their love for the other and they consumate the relationship

one day Paris tells Alaric about his gift from Aphrodite and he can conceive and carry his child

This pleases Alaric and Paris says yes when Alaric asks him to marry him and soon enough Paris tells him he has conceived and they later on have a baby boy named Xandros

Prince Tristan: He is 24 years old and is 3rd in command of Corinthia's army behind Droford and his brother Alaric

He and Alaric have never really gotten along and he hopes to ammend things when he returns home with the beautiful Prince Paris

He is much like his father in that he is cunning and deceptive

Alaric leaves him in charge of the army so he can return home and recuperate

Tristan leads the soldiers on for the next 4 days as they burn many homes and they kill anyone standing in their way

they eventually make their way to the Palace of King Silas and they destroy many of the priceless Royal Artifacts and they kill King Silas and Queen Helen while they force the young prince Paris to watch helplessly and they take him as their pleasure slave

Tristan is pissed when he finds out Alaric is pursuing a relationship with the "whore" and he and his friends attempt to make life hell for Paris and Alaric

Alaric nearly kills him in his rage

Tristan's father King Victor has him sent him away and removes his Royal title at the end of season 1
