I kind of like Assadd Kelada, most noted for Facts Of Life and WKRP In Cincinnati.

Asaad Kelada because outside of "WKRP" and "FOL" which were great shows, he also did 80s hits like "Who's the Boss", "Family Ties", "Night Court" and "Alf". I've heard that shooting Alf was torture because you had to wait around all day on a set that was hot as hell, while they took time preparing the puppet for particular shots. So I'll give him extra props for that. I also think Jim Burrows was great. He has too many hits to mention, but the main ones have been "Cheers", "Taxi", "Friends", and "Will and Grace".

I don't know if they count but here goes: Don Nicholl, Michael Ross, and Bernie West for their work on Three's Company, All in the Family, and The Jeffersons.
If they don't count, I go with the two above me. |

Jay Sandrich has to be #1. He was chief director for "Mary Tyler Moore Show," "Soap," and "The Cosby Show," and he also directed the pilots for "The Bob Newhart Show," "WKRP In Cincinnati," "Rhoda," "Benson," and "The Golden Girls." Oh, and he was James Burrows' mentor as a director. Sandrich rules.

James Burrows because he has worked on some of my favorite shows such as Cheers, Friends, and my current favorite Will and Grace.
