Eek Skipped an episode

This past Friday Ant TV skipped an episode, "Dorothy Takes A Trip". Don't know why, if anyone here does, I'd be glad to hear. Kind of ruins an episode guide recording schedule. I had to use an old tape for this show's new DVD recordings. I wonder what went wrong? If I have it on tape I know Sony must have the original. Why didn't they use it?

Red face Hmm

I'll have to look into this, maybe the episode I recorded back when really was "..Takes A Trip" even though my program guide said it was "License To Wed", I'll look at the disc where I thought I recorded License to Wed from ANT TV and see if it's really "..Takes Trip". Thanks for the heads up.

License To Wed didn't air because the telecast master of the episode is supposedly in bad shape. So they aired Dorothy Takes A Trip instead. This is why Dorothy Takes A Trip was skipped over when it was supposed to air in it's proper spot.

Another episode that will probably be skipped is the Christmas episode from the 4th season, 86 Shopping Minutes To Christmas. Christmas episodes are normally shown only during Christmastime.

Red face Ooop!

You're abslolutely right. I checked out the disc that I thought had "Liscense To Wed" on and it turned out to be "D Takes Trip". I even titled it "Liscense..." on my menu. Darn, Sheeesh, there goes the perfect episode guide order of recording these shows, one of the qualities of Ant TV that I liked, that they played them in order. I've seen some rather green looking Hazel episodes on Ant TV (in addition to some really top quality shows) and I only wonder why didn't they just show one of their not so perfect editions of "Liscense..." how bad could it have been, green, purplish? Yes, I'd like to see it in perfect restored condition, but that has not stopped ANT TV from showing some of the episodes in their unrestored green hued versions. I'm very glad that most of the episodes ANT TV has shown so far have really looked better than I've ever seen them, color bright and accurate and not grainy, just a clear picture. But they have shown some that are a bit green and less than perfect and seems they could have shown "License..." in this way. I know they must have the episode, I have 3 different copies from 3 different sources from 20 year year old tapings, one from Family Channel, another from a local broadcast showing, and another from WOR. So Sony must surely have this in their stock. They can contact me if their version is in shreds, God forbid.
